Camp 2023 will run July 10th – July 21st, MON to FRI from 9AM to 4PM. Camp will be IN PERSON at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. We still have spots available and rolling applications are open!

We ask that the application is filled out by the campers, with particular attention to the “interest and about me” video, which will be considered when acceptance decisions are made.
COVID-19: Due to the ever-changing situation that is the COVID-19 pandemic, we reserve the right to alter the format of camp according to UNC’s policies. We will be taking precautions in alignment with UNC’s policies. Currently, we expect to require proof of a negative COVID test before camp and the encouragement of mask wearing.
NOTE ON THE APPLICATION PROCESS:
Some years we have had more interested students than we can accommodate. All students who apply by the deadline will be considered equally, and if there are more applicants than spots, some applicants will be put on a wait list. There may be space available after the deadline, and applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis as space allows.
This camp is for rising 9th-12th graders in the Triangle area. No overnight accommodations will be provided, so applicants must live within 40 miles of UNC-Chapel Hill campus.

Yes! This camp is for students who are curious about mathematics and want to explore more advanced math topics in a fun, supportive environment. Anyone who enjoys math or wants to learn more about the different types of mathematics that exist beyond the high school curriculum is encouraged to apply!
We do NOT ask for grades, GPA, letters of recommendation, etc…
The application consists almost entirely of straightforward information about the camper such as contact information and recent math courses taken.
A 1-2 minute video is required describing why you are interested in attending Girls Talk Math and telling us about yourself. This video needs to be done by the camper and will be the primary consideration when selecting attendees. Questions you can consider answering in the video:
